Augusta Fire Department responds to industrial fire, one person treated for minor injury
Augusta, GA – The Augusta Fire Department responded to an industrial fire Tuesday in the 2000 block of Doug Bernard Parkway, where one person was treated for a minor injury.
Fire crews were dispatched to the scene on July 21 after reports of an outside industrial fire.
According to the Augusta Fire Department, firefighters treated one individual for minor injuries at the scene. No additional information about the person’s condition or the cause of the fire was immediately released.
Crews remained on scene working to extinguish the fire and ensure the area was safe before the incident could be cleared.
Officials urged motorists and residents to avoid the area and use alternate routes while emergency personnel continued their response.
