Augusta Fire Department fundraiser raises more than $2,000 with support from local businesses and community
Augusta, GA – The Augusta Fire Department announced that a recent community fundraiser raised more than $2,000, thanking local businesses and residents for their support.
According to the department, the fundraising event was made possible through a partnership with Dave’s Hot Chicken and Home Depot, both of which joined the effort to support Augusta firefighters and the community.
The department said proceeds from the event exceeded $2,000 and credited the success to the generosity of community members who came out to participate.
Fire officials expressed their appreciation to everyone involved, saying the event reflected the community’s continued commitment to supporting the Augusta Fire Department and its mission.
The department also thanked Dave’s Hot Chicken and Home Depot for partnering in the fundraiser, noting that both organizations stepped forward to support the event without hesitation.
