Augusta government announces Broad Street traffic alert with lane and sidewalk closures
Augusta, GA – The Augusta, Georgia Government has issued a traffic alert for Broad Street, advising residents and commuters of upcoming lane and sidewalk closures that may impact travel in the downtown area.
According to the city’s Engineering Department, inside lane closures are in effect between 7th and 8th Streets.
Additional restrictions are also in place between 12th and 13th Streets, where both the outside lane and the sidewalk are closed.
Officials encouraged drivers and pedestrians to plan ahead and use caution when traveling through the affected areas.
