Two Hospitalized After Overnight Shooting in Tennille, Georgia
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities in Washington County are investigating a shooting that left two people hospitalized following an overnight disturbance in the city of Tennille.
According to Sheriff Joel Cochran, the incident occurred near the 500 block of North Main Street. Deputies and investigators responded to the scene after reports of gunfire late in the evening.
Preliminary details suggest that the shooting stemmed from a disturbance, although officials have not yet released specific information regarding what led to the violence. Both victims sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to a nearby hospital. They are expected to survive.
