Man Arrested in Stalking Incident at Diamond Lakes, Augusta

Augusta, GA – A man has been arrested in connection with a stalking case that recently came to light at Diamond Lakes in Augusta, Georgia, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Tyrone Bernard Gaynor Jr., 31, of the 3700 block of Farrington Drive, was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon. The arrest follows reports circulating on social media about a man who had been allegedly following women at an uncomfortable distance in the Diamond Lakes area.

Authorities began their investigation after a Facebook post featuring a photo of the suspect went viral. Following further investigation, Gaynor was arrested and charged with misdemeanor stalking.
