Tennille Man Arrested After Allegedly Running Over Co-Worker in Washington County

TENNILLE, Ga. – A Tennille man has been arrested after allegedly running over his co-worker during an altercation Thursday in Washington County.

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 4000 block of Highway 102 after receiving reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. Upon investigation, authorities determined that the incident stemmed from a physical and verbal confrontation between the two individuals, who were traveling together at the time.

The altercation escalated when one of the men allegedly drove the vehicle over his co-worker, injuring him severely. The victim was airlifted to a nearby trauma center for treatment of his injuries. Deputies have not released further details about the victim’s condition.

Larry Brooks, 37, of Tennille, was arrested in connection to the incident. He faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, reckless conduct, battery, and reckless driving.

This incident highlights the dangers of workplace conflicts escalating into violence, and authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the altercation.

Brooks is currently in custody, and additional details regarding the case are expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
