Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Man in Connection to Augusta Homicide
AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for 18-year-old Tayshaun Goodwin in connection with a deadly shooting that took place earlier this month.
Authorities say the incident occurred on May 21st on the 2500 block of Lumpkin Road, where 26-year-old Jaquavious Watkins was fatally shot.
Goodwin is considered a person of interest and is wanted for questioning. Officials report that he is known to frequent the Harrisburg and Lumpkin Road neighborhoods.
Anyone with information regarding Goodwin’s whereabouts or the shooting is urged to contact the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
