Richmond County Sheriff’s Office joins community for Local Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

Augusta, GA – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office participated in Local Law Enforcement Appreciation Day in the Blythe community, an event sponsored by the Augusta Women’s Club.

Representing Sheriff Gino Brantley were Colonel Bo Johnson and Lt. Corey Carlyle, who spoke with residents about available resources and the department’s future direction.

The Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude to its partners, including the Blythe Police Department and Chief Stallings, as well as the Augusta Fire Department and Chief Burden, for their support and dedication to the community.

The event highlighted the continued collaboration among local agencies and their shared commitment to strengthening relationships with the citizens of Richmond County.
