Richmond County Sheriff Brantley encourages youth to embrace life lessons through football
Augusta, GA – Richmond County Sheriff Brantley visited Eisenhower Park to speak with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Hurricane’s Football Team, their coaches, and parents, emphasizing the life lessons that extend beyond the field.
Sheriff Brantley highlighted the importance of character, courage, and teamwork, sharing that football reveals the kind of people young athletes are becoming.
He encouraged players to show up with courage, play with integrity, and support their teammates.
He also stressed handling victories with grace, learning from losses, and serving something larger than oneself.
Players were reminded that their talents are gifts to share with their families, communities, and younger athletes who look up to them.
