Richmond County deputies respond to storm-related needs across community
Augusta, GA – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) shared highlights of their recent efforts serving the community during severe weather.
Over the past two days, deputies have been assisting with a wide range of storm-related needs.
RCSO personnel helped stuck vehicles, closed dangerous roadways, transported essential workers, and escorted unsheltered individuals to warming centers.
Deputies also provided security for local businesses and responded to domestic disputes and other calls for service.
The department emphasized that these efforts reflect their commitment to public service and urged residents to stay off the roads unless travel is necessary.
RCSO thanked the community for their cooperation and support during these challenging conditions.
