Richmond County Authorities Seek Public’s Help in Fatal Hit-and-Run Case

Richmond County, GA – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run collision on the night of February 25, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 11:02 P.M. on mile marker 11 of the I-520 (Bobby Jones Expressway).

Authorities have identified the vehicle as a dark grey 2012 Toyota Camry with the Georgia license plate number SIH6109. Investigators are seeking any information that could help them track down the vehicle and its driver for questioning related to the fatal crash.

The Sheriff’s Office has appealed to the community, urging anyone who may have seen the vehicle before or after the incident, or who may know of its whereabouts, to come forward. Traffic investigators are particularly hopeful that the public may provide critical information that will aid in resolving the case.
