The incident unfolded late last week, as law enforcement officials worked to apprehend a suspect linked to a violent crime.

According to the Gwinnett County Police Department, officers had been tracking the suspect, who was wanted in connection with an armed robbery. As the suspect fled, officers initiated a pursuit, which quickly escalated into a high-speed chase through local roads. With speeds reaching dangerous levels, authorities called in their Aviation Unit for assistance in tracking the vehicle from above.

The aerial footage, released by the police department, shows the suspect’s vehicle weaving through traffic at high speeds, while the aviation unit maintained visual contact from above.
