Richmond County, GA – A fatal accident on Brown Road in Richmond County has left one person dead. The incident occurred Tuesday morning on the 1500 block of Brown Road when 23-year-old Ammon Taylor, who was riding a moped, was struck by a vehicle traveling along the same road.

According to the Richmond County Coroner’s Office, the call reporting the accident came in at 11:33 A.M. Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly thereafter. Taylor was transported to Wellstar/MCG, where he was later pronounced dead at 2:13 P.M.
